SSC Phase 12 Eligibility Criteria

Education Qualifications

• Matriculation: A candidate must have passed the Class 10 Exam from a recognised State or Central board.
• Intermediate: An individual must have passed the Higher Secondary (12th) Exam with Science, Commerce or Arts stream.
• Degree: One must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree in any stream from a University Grant Commission recognised institution.

Age Limit

• To apply online for Matriculation, Intermediate or Degree level posts, an individual’s age must not be below 18 or above 30 years. There will be upper age relaxation for 3 and 5 years for Other Backward Class and Scheduled Tribes/Caste, respectively.

SSC Selection Post Recruitment Apply Online

1. Visit www.ssc.gov.in and click on “Register Now” for first-time applicants.
2. Fill in details like email, contact number, and name.
3. Receive Registration Number and password on registered mobile and email.
4. Log in using Registration Number and Password.
5. Click on the apply link for Phase-12/2024/selection posts examination.
6. Complete the application form and submit.
7. Pay the application fee online.
8. Upload required documents in specified format and size.
9. Attach disability Certificate Number if applicable.
10. Print the application form and fee receipt for future reference.

Application Fees

• General and OBC category candidates: Rs 100/-, payable online or offline.
• Female or SC/ST category candidates are exempt from the application fee.
• Online payment methods include BHIM UPI, Net Banking, Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit cards.

SSC Selection Post Phase 12 Selection Process

• Written Exam (Computer-Based): Candidates need to clear the Computer-Based Test (CBT) to advance to the subsequent selection stages.
• Document Verification: After qualifying the CBT, candidates undergo document verification. Skill tests such as Typing/ Data Entry/ Computer Proficiency Test are conducted, based on Essential Qualifications, and are of a qualifying nature.
